Visual.Net Email Settings
We have recently made changes to our servers. You will need to update your email settings. Below are the new settings for Outlook / Outlook Express.
Other email settings are: Eudora and Netscape Communicator. If your program is not listed here, or is a different version, the settings are:
Incoming server: visual.net
Outgoing server: visual.net
Outlook and Outlook Express Settings
- Open up Outlook Express
- On the Menu bar click on Tools
- From the dropdown menu choose Accounts
A new window will open titled 'Internet Accounts'
- Select the Mail tab
- Under 'Account' highlight your visual.net account
- Click on Properties on the right
A new window will open
- Select the Servers tab
- If Incoming mail (POP3) is mail.pacificcoast.net or mail.visual.net
Change it to visual.net
- If Outgoing mail (SMTP) is mail.pacificcoast.net or mail.visual.net
Change it to visual.net If it is something else, such as shaw or telus, leave it alone
- Click Apply
- Click Ok
- Click Close
- Check your mail as usual
